Camping and Accommodation

Bringing your tent
Camping is available to all weekend ticket-holders at no extra cost. But if you have bought a day ticket and you decide to stay over at the last minute, camping will cost £5 per night.

Hiring a yurt
Fed up with the same boring tent/campervan experience? This year, you can hire a yurt instead for the ultimate in festival style. Yurt hire is available with or without the cost of a festival ticket – go to our yurt hire page for more details or contact paul@redkiteyurts.com to make a booking.

Vehicle Access – Weather-permitting, you will be able to drive into the camping field to unload your car this year, but you cannot park beside your tent.

Campsite facilities – This is proper old-fashioned camping – no electric hook-ups for those who like to cheat. Toilets and water taps are provided in the campsite, but there are no showers available (it’s only one weekend, people, and we’re all friends). Baby-changing facilities are available in the festival village. Small barbeques are allowed in the designated area, but please do not light any open fires.

Please don’t bring glass packaging onto the campsite or the main festival area. Both areas of the site are used for livestock grazing throughout the year, and broken glass is dangerous for the animals’ feet and for vehicle tyres.

Bringing your caravan or campervan
We have limited space for small caravans and campervans – please contact the office to book a pitch.

Disabled camping
Spaces are available in the disabled campsite for those with mobility and access difficulties – please reserve a space by contacting the office.

Offsite accommodation
Local B&B accommodation and hotels can be found via the Perthsite Tourist Board website, or contact their Perth office on 01738 450621 for more information. There is a Travelodge on the A9 west of Perth which you can book online or by telephone (the central booking line number is 0871 559 1837).

A range of eco-camping and hostel options are also available at the award-winning Comrie Croft centre, which is 30 minutes’ drive/bus journey west of The Bield.
