Full 2024 Solas Festival Music Lineup Announced

We are incredibly excited to showcase the diverse lineup of talent that awaits our attendees at this year's Solas Festival, celebrating the rich tapestry of human experience. At the heart of our programming are our headlining acts, carefully selected to not only entertain but also to embody the essence of our Human Touch theme, which runs as a guiding thread throughout our entire program.

Tom McGuire & the Brassholes bring an infectious energy to the stage on Friday night with their soulful melodies and raw, unfiltered funk. Their latest album, 'Stay Rad', delves deep into themes of crisis, fear, reflection, revelation and recovery, resonating with the collective experiences of many during challenging times. Their music serves as a reminder of the resilience and vibrancy of the human spirit, inspiring us to embrace our individuality and find strength in our shared humanity.

On Saturday night, we're thrilled to present An Dannsa Dub, whose visionary fusion of traditional Scottish music with digital dub creates a captivating sonic landscape that transcends boundaries. Their genre-defying soundscapes invite listeners on a journey of exploration, reflecting the ever-evolving tapestry of human culture and expression. An Dannsa Dub embodies the spirit of evolution and adaptation, reminding us of the interconnectedness of past and present.

Joining them are a diverse array of artists, including the experimental Celtic sounds of Brìghde Chaimbeul and Hamish Napier, the emotive indie folk of Rosie H Sullivan, and the eclectic folk fusion of Joshua Burnside. We're also excited to feature the Ando Glaso Collective, a unique collaboration uniting Scotland's diverse Roma communities, and Och Vey, offering seditious, joyful klezmer music from Yiddishland.

Together, these artists exemplify the transformative power of music to unite, inspire, and uplift, inviting us to connect with ourselves, each other, and the world around us. We can't wait to share these incredible performances with our festival community and embark on a journey of discovery, connection, and celebration of the Human Touch in all its forms.

Solas Festival: June 14-16, 2024. Book tickets.
