Midsummer magic returns: Solas Festival reveals 2026 programme
Solas Festival is back for 2026, with our first wave of acts announced, and a welcome £53,000 funding boost.
Set in the beautiful grounds of Errol Park, our midsummer weekend is as much about slowing down and reconnecting as it is about the music. This year’s line-up is already looking strong, with Project SMOK, Rachel Sermanni, RURA and Adam Holmes, alongside a mix of emerging and established artists still to be revealed.
Away from the stages, our wellbeing programme is packed with ways to reset, from yoga and yoga nidra sessions to lymphatic massage, wild medicine workshops and conversations around gut health and fermentation. There’s also the chance to properly switch off with the Soulwater Sauna.
The talks and discussion strand brings together a wide range of voices and ideas, from reflections on Scottish politics and football culture to conversations around creativity, community transformation and storytelling. The literature programme adds another layer, with live readings, poetry and personal stories - including voices sharing powerful real-life experiences.
Families are a big part of the Solas atmosphere, and there will be plenty to keep younger festivalgoers busy. Expect storytelling with the Story Wagon, creative workshops, theatre and other interactive sessions designed for kids, alongside spaces to explore and play.
The new funding, from The Scottish Government’s Expanded Festivals Fund through Creative Scotland, will support collaborations with independent promoters and partners, helping to spotlight emerging artists and create new opportunities behind the scenes as well as on stage.
